Anthony Petrello’s daughter, Carina, was born with periventricular leukomalacia (PVL). This propelled him and his wife, Cynthia, to join the Board of Trustees of the Texas Children’s Hospital. They now advocate for more research and clinical programs to help address the needs of children with neurological disorders, similar to their own child’s illness.

Before joining the leadership team at Nabors Industries Ltd., Petrello worked as an attorney at the law firm of Baker & McKenzie from 1979 to 1991. His practice focused on areas of law such as corporate law, taxation, and international arbitration. He also served as a managing partner of the firm’s New York office from 1986 until his resignation in 1991 when he joined Nabors Industries Ltd.

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Petrello holds both a bachelor and a master’s degree in mathematics from Yale University.
